STILL having fun with it, but didn't love the way the author had River slip in some condescending slut shaming with his "I know it's a tad passé to say as a gay man..." bit about not wanting to sleep around. #notimpressed

Ok, look... I'm into this. It's almost *too* zany, and definitely over the top, but I'm having fun. But I still can't help cringing a little as I remind myself that I'm here to enjoy the fictional ridiculousness, not to call out the fact that River is COMPLETELY sexually harassing Kai in the workplace in a way that would be incredibly uncomfortable if Kai wasn't secretly into it because it's all just a story. Yikes!

Lost interest as I usually do. In a bit of a book slump at the moment I think. Also I just don’t like books with comedy all that much I’m learning. lol. Trying to be funny just doesn’t seem like a genre for me.
