before i continue i wanted to add my theory: i think jiro is shilling, because he seems to dislike the imperial family and the hilds, which would make sense if he is a gemini and his whole species was wiped out by the hilds... with all the hints, it leads to jiro wanting to find a cure for the gemini disease for someone he knows? his parent maybe or sibling?

Idk how i feel about shilling... i dont like it when the MC has intimacy of any kind with another character. But i still am sure Jiro is the thief... maybe he knows shilling and is protecting him?

Im 99% sure jiro is the thief... maybe he is wearing a wig or smth like that? I dont like tho, that he is engaged to the prince, the prince is giving me creepy vibes and not in a good way...
