"The House of Masks" is one of the best DW stories to date; it is so clever and heartfelt and rewarding, especially as a longtime Whovian. Also Val has so quickly become one of my favorite companions, she's such a badass (●'◡'●)

Vraiment pas mal !

I missed eleven so much. It's not Matt Smith but holy shit is he perfect.

Second episode: Solid episode, if a little bit standard Who fare. But it definitely felt representative of the Smith era. So far no real complaints about this set. I like Valarie as a companion. Good Doctor/Companion pairing.

Episode 1: "The Inheritance." That was . . . quite good! Kicking off a 12-episode arc for the 11th Doctor, he's paired with a brand new companion for this series who's pretty dang feisty. I like their chemistry. It's easy to forget that this is not Matt Smith playing the Doctor, but Jacob Dudman playing Matt Smith playing the Doctor. Because he's . . . really got it down.
