Status Updates From Ragnarok (Mellem Verdener #1)

Alex saw her vision come true, Balfour (Balder) was going to die, and Loki was an intruder giving information to the Romans (red serpent).
Loki and Thor sent Alex back via one of the lightning stones.

Alex had been in a coma for 6 weeks,Gunvall was not better. She figured that Balfour was Nathan’s ancestor, and she needs to save him. She helps Gunvall back and asks for his help to try to save Balder.

Freya tried to teach Alex to see through the stones, it doesn’t work at first, next time she sees her dead friend Nathan, and becomes sad. She seeks out Yngvar and couples with him. Afterwards she tries to see through the stones again and gets a message from Nathan, that Alex should seeks the answers for him and look in her genetics and figure stuff out.

Alex watches a man get tortured by the chief in front of everyone. She flees and goes to talk to Freya. Freya brings Alex to a warm hut, where she thinks she sees her dead friend Nathan, who she follows out in the night. She stumbles upon Freya, Heimr and Yngvar who’s at the circle of some standing stones. She tells them of what she sees and her and Freya comes to an agreement, doing a bloodoath.

Alex met the ‘god’ Thor, and answered her many questions. Afterwards she met the chief who said she had to come and get her sentence for injuring one of his men. Here she chose to fight and try to keep her independence instead of being owned by someone. She won, as the chief had hoped.

Alex met up at work at night, a thunderstorm switched off the light. An intruder was in the museum and Gunvall was attacked. Alex passed out and woke up in Scotland very early AD and got in a tricky situation, where she attacked a hostile group of men, but freed a lady, here she also met her guide, who had been waiting for her arrival. They went to watch a funeral ceremony and met the Druid Freya.

Alex is a former MMA fighter who had a crush on her trainer, Nathan, and a difficult upbringing. Her trainer ‘died’? And was a researcher at the local museum studying folklore and the Scottish highlands. Alex takes the place instead of Nathan to fill in the spot for him. She meets his former mentor, Gunvall.
