As an autistic people these people's desire to blame my brain on extremely important preventative medical care is so insulting.

They'd rather their children be dead than be like me.

Okay they're now going "but if they did this insane hypothetical then the whole study would be invalid" and it's like

Yeah but you had to make up an insane hypothetical and insist they did that.

Because you don't have any real way to dispute the study results

The vibe really is that they'll just completely dismiss every study as fake not matter what unless the study is performed by completely independent parties funded by nothing and no one and that is literally not how science works

They keep listing extremely well designed studies and then going "but if this insane hypothetical were the case then this whole study would be garbage" it's making me insane

The vaccine "science" book is making me nuts bc even in this scenario the conclusion would be "we could not find any causitive nor statistically significant correlated link between the MMR vaccine and autism" you dumb fucks

Authors are using the word "bias" here to mean "position that disagrees with us" which is not what that word means

I love this kind of person bc when the numbers that agree w their position aren't high enough to be scary they just go "but the number is probably actually way higher"

Because there's no way to prove or disprove the claim bc it's just A Lie
