This book was a RE-READ for me. Second time wasn't the charm for me emotionally. I am angry, upset, livid and every synonym that can be used to describe negative feelings towards Mama Uju and Chigozie.

The writing was awesome, the structure, the prowess, the wordplay was impeccable!✨️
It tackles very serious societal issues and I was SAT, till I got angry. SGBV SHOULD STOP!

I hate that Gozie is starting to look like a caring husband. I feel so suspicious of him. Idk what’s coming but I’m scared. Ugu pls raise.

Yohhhh the plot is just getting thicker. Honestly what chapter does Gozie die because meinnnnn. 👎🏾

I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere. It’s been so long I’ve read, Im glad this is the book thats taking me out of the slump.
