Book club choice ... No judging. First impressions: poor man's Raymond Chandler ... The narrative voice feels hackneyed and clichéd. It's been done before and better. Not really something I'd ever pick up willingly, but after only 26 pages I'm prepared to remain optimistic that, at some point, I'll change my mind.
