Status Updates From Shipwreck (Island, #1)

A group of children from a variety of environments are on the Phoenix sailing to Guam. Most of them have experienced discipline issues of some kind. The captain is firm but kind, and Ratford is rough on them. JJ is the wealthy son of an actor who causes the ship to wreck in the storm, resulting in the Captain's death. The boat is left irreparable, and they are without a way to send an SOS, leaving them struggling.
