Status Updates From Mračna

The art is gorgeous, but the plot is kind of flat. And some character dynamics are just too unrealistic.

I support women’s rights… and also women’s wrongs. Somehow one of the most down to earth books I’ve read this year while still being wildly fanciful and full of magic. What really struck me was how subtle manipulation can be. I loved the world that was created for this story, the art was beautiful, and I wish there was more. 8/10
