as far as psycho mcs went
jude was great

not perfect

but def a standout and the only truly noteworthy part of this reading experience.

so i’ll likely never read this author again
let alone this series

although

i may come back to books one and two for jude’s crazy alone

i have those on my psycho shelf

but i’m not willing to put them or any from this series on my heroine shelf

honestly i still don’t recall her name and i literally just finished reading

i was like 10% interested in more of this worldbuilding since the fmc suddenly started a witch safe academy at the end of the book

only to find out
this series is the latest by this author
and they’ve already got several other series, tarot academy, vampire royals, etc

but those don’t seem related to this series

just fucking repetitive themes and concepts
boring.

plus this mediocre writing

ive a headache from cleaning the last few days

this book/story was boring as shit

there were less than a handful of noteworthy moments i already forgot about

i feel nothing for these characters or their stories now
even jude

the sex used to be spicy several books ago
but then it quickly became repetitive and boring

im rating this one star

glad to be down with it and truly forget now

not sure what the end goal is here
besides defeating the evil fae king sperm donor
and the evil stepmother weak witch half demon bitch

is the demon fiancé dead idr

fae realm is a shitty neighborhood for some reason
maybe once fmc works her magic she’ll heal it idk

and i’m guessing she’s so powerful she’ll be able to stop the mmcs curse

theyre all immortal and live hea

oh they’ve been in the fae realm

two of four mmcs have been turned into stone (still alive but bleh)
also theyre gargoyles or grotesques

there’s some witches helping

presumably demons are running amuck on earth

the fmcs got powers she’s yet to be able to manifest at will or control
but supposedly she’s uber powerful
even more so now
idr why and don’t care much

don’t ask me what the fmcs name is

i recall a jude, augustine, ree..something??, and draegan

her dad is her stepdad who had one side love with her mother
who was coerced into fucking the evil fae king
solely so the fmc could be born and then later bound and enslaved by demons
but he double crossed them
and also upset his daughter isnt gung-ho ruling the world with him

hes got fmc and dad prisoner

a day or so later

i’ve been
not putting off reading this

but so many things got in the way

a teeny tiny bit of almost* saving the best for last kind of feeling, and mostly i think if this was truly riveting, i wouldnt have been able to put it down

but i did
so 🤷🏻‍♀️

i vaguely recall what’s happened so far

boring plot continues
very repetitive

just thinking about it puts me to literal sleep
