Interesting information about modern Norse Paganism, but a bit of a slog to read due to the writing style which dwells on the same point for too long and feels too distant when attempting to explain theological ideas.

This book and it's predecessor are probably some of the best examples of accessible but thorough introductions to modern paganism. Even if someone isn't Heathen, they have such nuanced descriptions of polytheism, animism, and general practice that I'd feel comfortable giving it to any seeker. Pleasantly surprised considering they've been on my shelf forever.
