The "freedom" to fire guns in celebration, to toss plastic bottles into scenic gorges, or to not wear a mask during a pandemic, is a fictitious freedom because it ultimately destroys the society that fosters it. A suicidal type of freedom."

From the river to the seas means simply:
"For Palestinians, "freedom" simply means the ability to move from point A to point B, a few miles apart, without restrictions. Freedom is to walk upon the streets of one's own city without being asked for ID. Freedom is to travel abroad for work, study, or pleasure, and return with ease. Freedom is to look far and see a blue horizon, rather than an ugly concrete Wall."

"It is "charity" to dominate military equipment to settlers living illegally in subsidized luxury villas, but "support of terrorism" to donate tents, flour, and water to impoverished children in the refugee camps."

The US understanding of the genocide in Palestine is completely bonkers. Backwards. Hypocritical. Antithetical to all the values we claim to hold dear.
