I made the mistake of reading the introduction (which for many other books I skipped due to the risk of spoilers, and yes this one is no exception) though I appreciated it, mostly for its first bit on the nothing happening

I am also romanticizing reading this book in alignment with the seasons - it is fall now where I live and it was in fall where the book started
