Status Updates From The Green: Book One (1950s ...

I know this was touted as a slow burn romance, and there's three books in the series, but the two main characters haven't even met yet, and I'm starting to lose interest. I'll probably finish this book, at least, just to see where it ends up (especially since I'm so close to the end), but I'm not sure how I feel about reading further.

The scenes with MMC feel like filler—I wish we got a little bit more of his agenda
