Status Updates From I Am a Cat

It has been too long since a book has made me laugh out loud so heartily, and I lament that so many quips and references undoubtedly fly right over my head. I will have to spend a long time digging through old Chinese tales and Japanese Haikus to understand the full depth of the humor contained in these pages, but I think I’ll enjoy doing so almost as much as reading the book itself.

"I feel that life is not so unreasonable so long as one can scrape along from day to day. For surely human beings will not flourish forever. I think it best to wait in patience for the Day of the Cats."
