I’m a bit irritated with Brooks’ insensitive nature. Yes, you’re expressing your truth; however, it feels selfish! Is she the only person in this relationship? Why does it always have to be about her without considering her husband’s feelings and the hurtful things she says so nonchalantly? Ugh 😑

I love the chemistry between the two—lovers and friends. I’m already getting my hopes up based on the author’s comments before I started the book. Ugh! Please don’t let this divorce be finalized!
