This book is an absolute gold mine of information. It originated from a doctoral thesis by the author. I am using it as research for a topic that interests me. It is difficult reading, and in places is downright heavy going. Accordingly I am treating it the same way I treated research materials in university. There is so much highlighter in my copy that it looks like a kindergarten colouring project.

There is a tremendous wealth of information here, which is useful because this is a research tool for me. Parts of the book are very dry (how many millions of concrete used, how many feet long, etc) but the interviews with the people who were there are fascinating.

Rather repetitious as these are all memories of the workers.
