That is simultaneously exactly what I expected, given the blurbs, and so much worse and more heartbreaking. Holy shit, the way she just wants to get back to her 😭

That chapter got very Alice in Wonderland out of nowhere. Granted, each of these chapters take on a slightly different tone, but that one was the biggest outlier of the bunch. Not complaining, it was a very good chapter!

I too would commit crimes and con my way around the world for a missing volume of my favorite out-of-print manga series.

This one's a breeze so far! Love all the little individual stories painting a picture of the world here
