Status Updates From A Moveable Feast

started this yesterday i’m calling it my “walking book” or the book i read while walking through rittenhouse square and dodging joggers in their lulu

“If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast.” - EH, 1950.

I didn’t have these words as a nine year old seeing Paris for the first time, or later as a fifteen year old, experiencing the Parisian way of life again, but I knew the feeling. “ A moveable feast” is the only way to describe it.
