I am not finishing this one, but not due to a lack of interest. I could only order it through intra-library loan, and I really need to get it back to avoid incurring a massive fee. However, this was fascinating and mind-bending. I hope to finish it one day and read more of Ahmed's work in feminist studies.

Another very interesting book conceptually, but again concerned by a tiresome writing style. This time, it is an overuse of the “rule of 3”. Some examples:

“…to become complainers, to locate a problem, to become the location of a problem”

“…giving complaint a hearing, by giving room to complaint, by listening to complaint”
