This book is like a breath of fresh air.

He had the audacity to wink… boneless.

Dad’s voice echoed in my mind. Growing up, he’d always whispered in my ear as he tucked me into bed, “I may love you to the moon and back, but your Father in Heaven loves you more than a thousand trips to the moon.”

I love this

“Is there a future Mrs. Kane out there?”
“There’s someone I’ve had my eye on for quite a long time.”
“Well, who is she?”


And just like that I’ve lost my mind

“Id run across a verse in the book of Jeremiah as I was reading my Bible late last night that read ‘For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.’”
