I wish the adults were more emotionally mature. Jen is right: they are telling her how to feel and not making space for her live experience. Then her mother asks her to be understanding of everyone else after not being understanding of Jen. But I do like that Jen can see it and calls them out for it. The BF is super insensitive and doesn't respect Jen. I hope that gets resolved, so far it's been excused.
