Status Updates From A Greek Love: A Novel of Cuba

This reads like a play. Some parts do not translate well. This book is more about politics in Cuba during the 1950s so far.

There's a lot of stories untold within the first half of the story. We see Ze forced to leave home because of her out of wedlock pregnancy, and how she survives and raises a musical prodigy in Petros. That said, the worldbuilding here is great, and I enjoy Valdes' writing style
