Time for some quality problematic tropes

Almost finished with this saga. I've enjoyed the journey across the desert, loved that Wyl and Lysander have finally arrived at peace and understanding about each other and now just we just need to stave off the Vipers and save the Hold!

This is giving me strong, but less sophisticated Captive Prince vibes.

// Strictly from Whyl’s perspective I can understand where he’s coming from, however knowing what an incredibly remarkable wonderful beautiful and honourable man Lysander is, and knowing his side, I have to say that Whyl does not deserve him! In fact I find Whyl and his lack of understanding to be quite cruel and every bit the fucking asshole that he himself hates, and he doesn’t deserve Lysander!
