Reacting and letting yourself get affected by outside or materialist things is a sign of weakness.
You should be a philosopher rather than a conqueror

Marcus aurelius teaches us the following things:
1. Death is not as significant as people make it out to be
2. The purpose of human is to live a morally good and social life
3. Philosophy is something every person should learn and understand
4. Wordly desires are of no use for a person and caring for them is useless
