I don't really understand why all of these people keep including Max in these investigations when she's not offering anything to them. She's not an expert, she has no information or real insight to offer. It makes me question why she's the MC tbh. I don't mind a slow read but this feels like a lot of info dumping without actually anything interesting being revealed. Might dnf if it doesn't pick up soon.
