Status Updates From Snowflake

Well intentioned.

Finally borrowed it from the library so that I can finish it off. The irony of compulsively reading a book about compulsive behaviour (amongst other things) is not lost on me.

Informative. I still don't want to take it out of the library, though. 😊

Key takeaway for me: if someone is taking time off work for a mental health issue they are not (generally) skiving. I mean, they might be, but thinking that they are should not be the default go-to response.

Continued to watch a 2020 movie called The Hunt on Amazon Prime and realised where I'd heard Snowflake from. One of the characters calls another one by this name, but in a differently insulting way to the one used in this book. Anyway, I picked the book up in York library and read another chapter. Should I take it home or just read it here (or in Leeds) as and when. Let's see.

Saw it in York library and thought 'that title reminds me of something'. Saw 2 copies in Leeds library and picked one up and read to page 60. Interesting but not groundbreaking. Put it back on the shelf.
