Meh. Gene wolfe’s writing feels formulaic. He subtly suggests something vague, then spends ten pages having characters yap about whatever, then he explains the vague thing. And random gods or spirits show up. He also cant write fighting scenes. Ive read enough of him to know he just explains what happens after the fact.
