Status Updates From Soldier of Arete

Finished Part I, there’s a big time skip, I like that it’s a good stopping point but it was a mid book cliffhanger. I really wanna read more soon.

Off to a great start! I started reading this book with the chapter guide as there’s lots of allusion and historical references that I’m not enough of a history buff to understand. Made the reading experience easier. Gene Wolfe is well read author and put in work for the Latro series

Don't know why I waited so long to read this after Soldier of the Mist. Wolfe is a delight to read, as always.
