Status Updates From Tunele

Good God, one thing that I absolutely appreciate about Israeli Fiction is the positively refreshing refusal to make any character pure or perfect. Every character in this, whether a Jew or an Arab, has got so many complicated angles. we have backstabing, backdoor deals, multiple loyalties… Lies and deception, but also really silly moments of joy and pure goodness. Just very so refreshing to read.
