Status Updates From A Gift Called Hope

It had moments of greatness. Some soppy eye rolling moments. Don’t forget the preaching about the NHS. The last chapter was kinda stupid but I’m sure lots of others would’ve liked the woo woo stuff. Still didn’t like the split personality of the main character. Not meant to read that way I’m sure but that’s how I see it. Didn’t love her but she improved for the most part. Loved Mary though.

Improving slightly. Now that all the background story is revealed.

God I dislike when an author throws in some preaching about politics etc. This author preaching about the state of the NHS just didn’t fit. It comes across as what it was - a preaching side note.

Don’t love the dropped hints way of giving background. Especially when it’s vital background to the story. And I’m in two minds over the main character. Don’t know yet if I actually like her or not.
