Sighs... Another irredeemable ML. The way it kept getting worse and worse is crazy. The power imbalance in this universe is just too much, reminds me of how bleak the couple dynamic from Niang Niang Qiang was. No wonder people were comparing this ML to Shao Qun, these two and Song Juhan are the worst 188 MLs by far. Chasing arc better not disappoint.

The fact that I know the worst hasn't happened yet but this already has me crying omg I can handle (almost) anything but MC being humilliated by the ML? Breaks me. I wasn't expecting the angst to hit hard.

Now THIS is how you write an 'arranged marriage' novel with power imbalance. I am always fascinated at this author's plots.

Loving Shen Dai so far and he might possibly turn into my second favorite SQC protagonist. Qu Moyu isn't too awful but I know what to expect with 188 gongs so I am scared.

SQC's novels are so anxiety inducing that I have to take a deep breath before starting every chapter. Crazy.
