"'The Princess of Darkness was becoming sloppy in her attacks. Missing more often and having trouble dodging the ones thrown at her."
An example where the writer over states and then double backed in an attempt to create more detail. The story lacks imagery and complexity. The story line is linear and moves quickly. Likewise, the author uses idioms to convey character development making it seem trite.

This book is getting difficult to read through. The characters and plot are not complex. There is nothing engaging or imaginative. The author does more telling rather than showing. I'm not a fan.
