Well I'm only 4% in and tearing up already💔🥺

It pains me to write this but this book just isn’t up to Amie Knight’s usual amazingness. I’m on page 200 of 280 and the MMCs have yet to have a real conversation of substance on the page, don’t know anything about each other, and yet are “madly in love.” This is happening so much in the books I’m reading lately and it’s so disappointing from this author

I pushed this book off until pretty much the last minute because I KNEW it would wreck me. And guess what? It did. I need tissues already and I've only read the prologue.😭😭😭😭😭😭
