The pacing is a lot slower than her last book. And I'm not too happy about the mc getting beat up 😑.

I like the MCs but the heroine's subterfuge is needlessly complicate and feels contrived at this point.

Imagine "rescuing" 36 humans from slaves and not informing them about their new *guest* status

I always want the alien planet to be somewhere my main character might love living on. This place sounds awful.

Also, am I right in thinking more than 200 days have passed and I have no idea what has happened in their relationship!? Seems like they would have progressed but this book skipped all that.

It makes sense she would attempt an escape. But I hate to know she’s working against him.

I’m stressed and gotta put this aside.

I hope this book continues to be this good!! Who doesn’t want an amazing kickass heroine who knows how to blow things up and fix engines and escape alien abduction!?
