Status Updates From Burn Our Bodies Down

I still can’t believe they had the stomach to do that. Incredible ending. Doesn’t fix my problems with the middle, but it still manages to leave you shaken and staring into space like “WTF did I just read?”

This might the the best resolution to a toxic family plot I’ve seen, maybe ever? My standards are so low from being burned so many times, im easy to impress, but this resonates, it’s realistic, it probably makes people feel seen.

That might be the only time the horror’s been over explained and it didn’t ruin my enjoyment. We needed that so we have a frame of reference for how bad it really was. She was poisoning her whole family

They had the guts to do it.
Holy shit.
I’m so used to books only killing off the characters who are “supposed” to die, this was a complete shock.
Wow.

Oh my god. That scene literally had me feeling sick. It’s so gross, it’s so sad, it’s so. Rory Power this is why I read your books

Breaking up the horrors by wondering how deep the original grave was if it’s been being filed this entire time…?

Just becasue you see it coming doesn’t mean it’s bad. We were building towards this, it all makes sense now

The wait was worth it, holy crap that’s scary

I forgot I was reading this… oops
