My initial feelings about the Ben/Summer issues were laid to rest. A lot of the story so far has had me sniffling. We learn about Ben’s trauma right away and it is significant. The kind of thing that could scar someone for life. You could almost see Colby’s life on that same trajectory which is why these two connect so well.

I don’t really get want the wife is talking about. “You don’t want to hear about different shades or makeup and I don’t care about workout equipment. We’re obviously incompatible.”

I’m not saying they belong together but that logic just falls flat. State the real issue and not this nonsense.

I’m sorry I like her panther series but this is kinda bad. Like, it’s not good. Like why is everything telling, every emotion thought and purpose is explained nothing is shown to me. Idk their style of writing doesn’t fit this supposedly emotional tone this book is trying for
