I’m trying so hard to learn from this book, but it is so dense and jargony that it feels like I as a person with a mental illness - one that results in a lot of brain fog and mental fatigue - am ironically not the target audience of this book. The author stated in the beginning that he was going to approach this book using plain language for accessibility purposes, but the plain language is nowhere to be found.

This book sounded so cool, but holy shit is it annoying. every paragraph repeats 'multiple oppressions such as sexism, racism, colonialism, classism, ageism, cisgenderism, heterosexism, sizeism, ableism, sanism.' and it's like cool, you're intersectional. can you actually do an analysis now? because otherwise it's just virtue signalling bullshit. if you have to keep reminding the reader, then your analysis is bad >:(
