Got this in Paris purely for the cover’s vibes. V easy read. Didn’t realise it was a fable so it’s very much giving the alchemist. Living for 3 page chapters

Okay so this page got to me a little haha. Talks hierarchical structures, being connected with a normal life and giving things up, defiance of society, having kids, etc.

Think book feels like it’s dragging out.
I want to like it so badly. And like it’s such a pretty looking book, I don’t want to abandon it (dnf).
Also, like so close to finishing, process will feel like waste.

Switch in POV/ specific perspective. Basically went from characters to “I”. I don’t know if I like or if I’m just going to roll and act like it’s all dandy.

I don’t know if I love or hate this book. It has amazing quotes in it and the writing itself is quite enjoyable. However, I am a little lost on where I am with the plot/ storyline in the book itself. And who and what characters I am following.
