It was fun to revisit Jerusalem’s Lot again at the end. It was a little creepy, even if the ending lines were a little cheesy

I get along just fine with these hooks. There was terrible pain for the first year or so, but the human body can adjust almost anything. I shaved with them and even tie my own shoelaces. as you can see, my typing is nice and even. I don’t expect to have any trouble putting the shotgun into my mouth or pulling the trigger. It started again three weeks ago… There is a perfect circle of 12 golden eyes on my chest.

I thought I had peaked over the rim of the universe and into the fires of hell itself.

It wriggled and flapped with its mebraneous wings, clutching the tatters of his shirt for purchase.

A legless rat, guided by some bastard form of sonar lunged against him, biting. Its body was flabby, warm… The rat filled the whole gully at the far end of the noxious tomb. It was huge and pulsating, gray, eyeless and totally without legs… he looked up, and the gigantic flying form smashed into his face.

With terrible vengeful slowness, a wracked figure pulled itself up from the darkness, a half skull appeared at me. Beatles crawled over the fleshless forehead. A rotted cassock hung to the hollows of moulded collarbones. Only the eyes lived, red insane pits that glared at me with more lunacy. They glared with the empty life of the pathless waste beyond the edges of the universe. It came to take me down to darkness.

There was an obscenity, a different described that elaborately flamed picture further than this, but it was done after the freshly style of ribbons. But it contained a grotesque travesty of a Madonna and child, that strange half shadow creatures sported and crawled in the background. .. For the gold was a large, beautifully wrought cross, but it was hung upside down, symbol of Satan‘s mass.

After fearing he will be deemed crazy for telling his story, Jim decides to get Chip to expose Robert and David for threatening a teacher, in order to get them kicked out. But when he goes to the office, he finds out Chip is absent. Even worse, when he calls Chip's house, his stepfather answers and reveals that Chip has run away from home. Looks like he was SUPER desperate to get away from those two. Damn.

One day in February, after school, Chip Osway goes to Jim and confesses about Robert and David. He had been hanging out with them, but after Chip said he would get Jim for that test, Robert and David revealed they knew Jim back when Chip was a baby and imply that they plan to kill him. Chip is now terrified of them. And it looks like these two ARE the same two bullies who killed Wayne. But how have they not aged?

After realizing that David Garcia bears a striking resemblance to ANOTHER one of the bullies who murdered his brother, Jim is about to confess everything that's been going on to Sally but decides not to. Okay, Dr. Doofenshmirtz. Here's where you'd talk about having two nickels. One bully resemblance is one thing, but a second one? What the hell's going on here?

Two weeks after Kathy's death, Jim is informed that another transfer student will be joining Living with Lit to replace Kathy. When he opens the folder, he doesn't recognize the face immediately. His name is David Garcia, and he comes from the same high school that Robert Lawson did. Interesting.
