The epilogue in the previous book L.A. Heat was absolute bullsh*t. The only thing I can think of is that the author didn't originally plan a second book when writing it. The timing is even off. That was Christmas and this is Halloween but it makes it seem like it's only been a few months not almost a year. I'm so confused.
