Wait, so did Colton actually go to Hell and see a Persephone-like figure or was Andrew being flowery there?

Colton just needs to start telling Delaney stuff, because the keeping secrets part at this point is getting a bit frustrating.
Also, will the whole stepping into other worlds/dimensions come back into play here? It seems abandoned.

My current theory is that Delaney is possessed by some sort of death god.

So Colton's brother is alive in the parallel universe. Oh, that hurts.

Wait, how is Nate better? What's going on?

Even The Apostle has had his own losses.

The pacing has slowed a bit, but I'm still liking how Andrew is developing Delaney and Colton's relationship.

Oh, so they will be actually going to Chicago? This doesn't all take place on the campus or the rest of Boston; that's cool, actually.

I really do not know what supernatural creatures are stalking Delaney, but it appears people can actually teleport/transverse across time and space, so there is something speculative going on.

Wait, is a werewolf involved?

Okay, so Colton and Delaney seemed to be getting nicer and closer to each other, I just hope Andrew takes it slowly. So far the slow burn's been great so far.

Colton is being a jerk to Delaney, but I'm glad he's not overly cruel or abusive toward her. An asshole, but not a morally repugnant asshole.

So we finally got a glimpse of the Apostle.

Man, I wish my YA prose could be like this. I like how atmospheric Andrew is and there is (mostly) a maturity to the writing and characters.

Kelly Andrew, please let go of the glass girl simile/metaphor. I love the writing so far, but please the glass girl thing is too much already.

Colton seems like a mix between Gansey and Ronan from The Raven Cycle

I like the prose and the pacing so far, but goodness, there was like five "girl as fragile as glass" similes/metaphors in the first ten pages.
