DNFed in the beginning after the MC asks if the friendly manufactured people aren't a bit too "feminized" as in, "so well-behaved," "a woman's dream of a perfect society." Wtf? I appreciate a lot of Bujold's books, but there are some off-putting attitudes in some of them.
