Status Updates From Up from Slavery

Brilliance! From his birth into slavery to gaining an education at Hampton Institution, Washington was smart, eloquent, observant of human nature. I am only 30% in, but this piece educates and inspires me to be and do more.

There were parts of this book that were so detailed it was tedious to read. However there is also a lot of inspiring information in this autobiography about the life of Booker T. Washington. I admire the hope he held in all he did.
