Interesting discussion of the morality and ultimate usefulness of the Federation's Prime Directive, and a Starfleet Captain's obligation to support it. Interesting to learn Picard was a lecturer, going from badgering (as Kirk felt) Kirk with questions as Spock might, to addressing him in scenarios. Also some suspensions in belief with plot conveniences, though the technical conception and description has been sound.
