Not as big a fan of the writing of part 3, but still had a great story. I do like how the focus was less on the games as a whole and more on the player mindset in specific moments.

Reading this sacred text is great I wanna apply some of its teachings to the current roster. Let’s bench Bohm for a game or two, let’s send Walker down to Triple A for some starts.

Just reading Part I you can tell how naturally it is writing all this out is for Stark. He does a great job of setting the scene without spending too much time on fluff. Just reading about the Mets/Phils rivalry is getting me pumped for next season. Hoping for the Rollins mentality from the new guys.

Last book I read left a bad taste in my mouth and I already know I like where this story goes so it’s more of a palette cleanser.
