Really interesting how little is known about the impact of advertising in media considering that’s like 85% of what’s thought of w campaigning.

Wouldn’t have thought festivals and events did that much for turnout. I guess it fits with the personal interaction booster.

I wouldn’t have figured an email would do much for GOTV but I am somewhat surprised at the disparity between texts and social media. I wonder if post 2020 the data is different.

As expected enthusiasm is what sells with phone calls. Has in my experience.

Direct mail can be effective but is expensive. No surprise there. Better for smaller manpower campaigns.

Not surprised leafleting is fairly ineffective though I am really interested in the sign display. I would have thought signs had even less impact but maybe not!

Canvassing is the golden standard. Key is cost effectiveness and correct scripts. I can attest to it myself.

So it’s pretty hit or miss with what works and doesn’t.

So personal interaction is the key to voter mobilization. Color me shocked.
