While I do enjoy the drama of medieval times - the lies, the betrayal, the battles, etc., I can't help but think of just how narrow-minded they come across. Like, how are there only 5 names for men/5 for women? I'd probably go crazy too if every man for 10 generations was Edward, Richard, Thomas, George, and Liam or whatever tf. Then again if every woman was Elizabeth, Catherine, Mary, and Ann.
