- eating fruits and veggies (specifically cruciferous veggies like broccoli, kale, cabbage) increases survival rates of women with ovarian cancer
- pregnant women who consume vegetables 3-5x per week have a 71% increased chance of their babies developing type one diabetes compared to women who eat them daily
