Boek 1 had een aantal mooie theologische en ook grappige passages. Ik heb mij kostelijke vermaakt over de witheet jaloerse baby die geen borstvoeding kreeg, maar zijn broertje wel. Of dat mensen “humaan” verkeerd schrijven erger vonden dan humaan doen. Op de Augustinuskring gaf het boek aanleiding voor mooie gesprekken.

This is one of my favorite books and I’m very much looking forward to this re-read. Two quotes from today that stand out:
