Status Updates From Winter World: The Ingenuity...

By far the most enjoyable nonfiction book I’ve read. The author described the lives of various creatures in a way that makes you feel like you’re living with them during the winter months. This book may be over 25 years old but I can certainly see myself reading it again in another 25 years and still be fascinated by observations and facts.

Enjoyed portion on the Monarch butterfly!

Really enjoyed learning how frogs manage to survive the winter! I think I assumed that they didn’t live as long as they do, and that makes me happy because I really love frogs! Summer nights would not be the same without them (and crickets, of course).
